This Visual Communications production is a historical narrative based on a true story of Mexican American, Ralph Lazo, who voluntarily joined his Japanese American friends to Manzanar. Blending documentary and narrative styles, Esaki uncovers a history of racial solidarity that is a lesson for our own time.
