When Filipino-American JoJo, a high school salutatorian turned wannabe gangsta-pimp, impulsively carjacks cowboy Vance, a traveling perfume salesman, his best friend Devaun is dragged along for what turns out to be a crazy escapist road trip. Anything but conventional, the adventure, full of twists and turns that will leave viewers stupefied and laughing, takes the trio all the way from New York City to Nashville, Tennessee, as JoJo searches for his inner "Filipino Warrior," Vance comes to face with his unusual past, and Devaun futilely attempts to get things under control.

Earning Mallorca the Emerging Director Award at the 2004 Asian American International Film Festival, this comedy cuts across genre lines and racial boundaries to bring together unexpected elements, such as hip-hop and country, with surprising success.
